Hopkins KnowledgeNET
KnowledgeNET, exclusively available to all Johns Hopkins alumni, is an online library that gives you access to thousands of academic journals, articles and reference materials via licensed databases, as well as links to additional collections of online resources, digital libraries, and other Johns Hopkins publications.
RefWorks
RefWorks is an online citation manager that helps you keep track of citations to books, articles and other documents. It is free to all alumni, is web-based, and requires no special download.

Sheridan Libraries
The Sheridan Libraries encompass the Milton S. Eisenhower Library, the Albert D. Hutzler Reading Room, and the Brody Learning Commons on the Homewood campus; the Harbor East Library at the Carey Business School; the Sheridan Libraries in Washington, DC and in Columbia, MD; the John Work Garrett Library at Evergreen House; and the George Peabody Library at Mt. Vernon Place.
Each library has its own hours and policies for visitors. Visit each library's website for the most up-to-date information regarding onsite access.
Freidheim Library at the Peabody Institute
Johns Hopkins alumni may borrow library resources for free if they have a current Peabody Alumni Association Membership. The general public may borrow resources for a fee. Visit the library's website for rules regarding circulations timelines regarding books, scores, audio-visual and reserve materials.
Welch Library Admission and Privileges Information for Alumni
Alumni can access borrowing services, photocopying, and in-house resources by purchasing a library card from the school from which the alum graduated. Alumni can access the Welch Medical Library building with a photo ID. Remote access to most licensed electronic resources is not available to alumni. SAIS Library Alumni Services
The Johns Hopkins University Libraries offer resources for its alumni, ranging from access to Library spaces to free borrower accounts. New graduates retain their off-campus access to the full range of databases for six months after graduation.
Alumni are welcome to visit the Mason Library in Washington, DC. In-library privileges, such as seating, are prioritized for current Johns Hopkins affiliates. Direct questions about access, including obtaining a Visitor Pass, to saislibrary@jhu.edu.
