SAIS SWAN DC 2019 International Women's Day Celebration

In celebration of International Women's Day, the SAIS Women's Alumni Network (SWAN) and SAIS’s Global Women in Leadership (GWL) student organization invite you to join us for a 5:45pm screening of Wave Goodbye to Dinosaurs in Rome Auditorium, 1619 Massachusetts Ave, NW. The happy hour-style reception will follow the film at 7:30pm at the Beacon Bar and Grill, 1615 Rhode Island Ave NW. The film tells the story of the Northern Ireland Women's Coalition and their role in the historic peace talks that led to the Good Friday Agreement. Carmen Suro-Bredie '72, who coached the Northern Ireland Women's Coalition, will share her insights with us at the film’s conclusion. After her remarks, we will head to the Beacon Bar and Grill to continue the discussion, meet fellow SWAN members, and celebrate women's successes.
