Understanding People: Personality Theory and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Hosted by Women in Business (WIB) Affinity: Baltimore. Open to all JHU affiliates and their guests.

Want some insight into your boss, your family, or the cashier handling your holiday returns? Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) employs a system of correspondences known as the Five Elements, which includes both physiology and psychology. Everyone has all Five Elements, but the amounts vary, which helps shape our personality (and our "issues".) Join us to learn how to "read" the Elements and communicate with people in ways they can understand. Whether you are stuck in a check-out line or under a deadline, navigating personalities more effectively can help you enjoy this holiday season.
