Join us for a special JHU Chicago Commemoration Dinner brought to you by the Chicago Chapter, Young Alumni, and the JHU Foodie Affinity! On February 22, 1876, Daniel Coit Gilman was formally inaugurated as the first President of The Johns Hopkins University. A year after President Gilman’s inaugural, the Trustees announced that, henceforth, February 22 would be considered the anniversary of the founding of this University. 

The dinner will be served over six courses created by Chef Brian Fisher and is designed to showcase the best of Entente's seasonally-changing menu. All of the dishes are served family style and will be presented over 6 consecutive courses with 1 dish served at each course. 

Maximum 2 people per registration.

We will offer 2 seatings for this event. 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm; 9:00 pm - 12:00 am.

Entente joins the list of 2018 Michelin Star recipients with its ever-evolving, imaginative cuisine. 

Entente [ahn-tahnt], being a “friendly understanding”, highlights collaboration between the chefs. Ingredients drive the dishes that live as staples on the a la carte menu.  Seasonality of game, seafood, meat, and vegetable inspire the direction of the kitchen. Reinterpretations of dishes with cross-cultural influences showcase the true diversity and talent of the chefs. Beverage pairings are available to further enhance the experience.

The team at Fujimura Hospitality (Arami, SmallBar, Pub97), and Chef Brian Fisher, formerly Chef de Cuisine of Michelin-starred Schwa, is at the helm of the kitchen. Owner Ty Fujimura and Karen Bovinich of Fujimura Hospitality operate the restaurant and Heather Hughes, Director of Events.

“Entente is a collaboration of extraordinary talent led by Chef Fisher,” explained owner Ty Fujimura. “Our menu will change based on new inspiration, thought and collective ideas from the collaborating team.”
