Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a Whiting School of Engineering graduate, was in Baltimore on Thursday to dedicate a new $1.1 billion hospital at Johns Hopkins University, which includes a children’s center named in honor of his late mother.
This past fall, Nolan’s on 33rd – the Charles Commons dining hall, also known as the “campus living room” – celebrated its fifth anniversary, and David Nolan, A&S ’71, recipient of a 2009 Heritage Award, recently sat down with his children to discuss his involvement in improving Johns Hopkins University’s student life.
