Gifts of Publicly Traded Stock
Please contact us in order to transfer securities electronically into a Johns
Hopkins University account. After discussing your wishes with a staff member in the Johns Hopkins School of
Medicine Office of Development and Alumni Relations, your stockbroker may call our Treasurer's Office at 443-997-8120. The Johns Hopkins Office of the
Treasurer will provide the transfer information directly to your broker.
You can also send stock certificates via registered mail. The Office of the
Treasurer can assist you with this. In order to secure a fair market value
charitable deduction, you will want to contribute stock you have held long-term.
Mail the stock certificates, along with a letter indicating your intent to make a gift to the School of Medicine, to:
