"Our body takes on what we say and feel both negatively and positively. What we focus on grows... As we mindfully shift our thoughts and energy, and become more present, we can work on our mind/body and emotional connection, resiliency, and moving in a positive direction," per Marilyn.

Marilyn recently began running the Universities at Shady Grove Rd Counseling Center’s “Skills for Successful Living” workshops, programs designed to help students learn techniques to promote resiliency and stress management, taking control of their lives, self-care, healthy communication and choices, self-advocacy and wellness.

Marilyn has a passion for learning and teaching Holistic mind/body and spiritual awareness, connection, and uplifting techniques to help with anxiety, trauma, anger, addictions, and phobias. She has studied Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT), EFT/Tapping, Guided Imagery, Meditation, Mindfulness, and Gestalt to help clients learn to become unstuck, while gaining peace, acceptance, and balance in their lives.
